I recently had a conversation with Vincent T. Dacquino and he revealed one of his passions for writing, Bibliotherapy. Bibliotherapy is using books to aid people in solving the issues that they may be facing. An interaction between the reader’s personality and literature. The reader empathizes with a story’s character or situation and undergoes a form of catharsis by gaining hope and releasing the emotional tension. What a wonderful crusade, writing to heal.

What surprises me and heightens my curiosity to know more is that Vincent consciously creates with the focus to help others. The story is given birth and exist for the purpose of healing.
